Watford midfielder Will Hughes is excited to be making his Premier League debut against Liverpool.

Hughes left Derby County for Watford earlier this summer and admits he's a big Reds fan.

"Growing up I was a Liverpool fan," Hughes said. "Five or six years ago, yeah, [those rumours caught his attention].

"That's normal, with me being a Liverpool fan.

"It's massively exciting, but I've got to focus on getting the result and can't read too much into the occasion. Hopefully I get a bit of game time and we get the result we want."
