Watford midfielder Chalobah seeks to help crocked Crichlow

Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is helping one of the club's injured Under-23 players by offering him accommodation and transport.

Kane Crichlow, who joined Watford from AFC Wimbledon on a two-year contract in the summer, suffered a broken ankle in first-team training last month after going in for a tackle with defender Daryl Janmaat.

The London Evening Standard says Chalobah is aware that Crichlow is far from his home in Bermuda so has invited him to stay with him in Hertfordshire, while the midfielder has also been providing the youngster with lifts to training.

Chalobah is also able to offer support when it comes to recovering from long-term injuries after damaging his knee cap two years ago.
