Valon Behrami believes Switzerland are capable of shackling England captain Wayne Rooney.
The Swiss take on the Three Lions in Euro2016 qualifying at Wembley on Tuesday with the Manchester United star looking to break Sir Bobby Charlton's record of 49 goals for England.
Switzerland sit second behind the English on the Group E table and a win would see them confirm their spot in the UEFA competition in France next summer while a draw would make life difficult for third-placed Estonia which Watford midfielder Behram hopes can be achieved.
"I think we can stop Rooney," he said.
"He has a great record over the years for club and country.
"There's a lot of good players in the England side so it's not just a case of keeping him quiet and our job is done.
"If it means they are not celebrating at the end then we have done our job."
Behrami added: "England have been leading all the way from the group and have been the best team.
"But we feel we are in a good position and that we can go and get a result. We will fight all the way."
