Watford and Liverpool have moved closer to agreeing a deal for youngster Jerome Sinclair, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror claims that the Hornets have made a bid for the talented 19-year-old, and a transfer could be concluded sometimes this week prior to Monday night's transfer deadline.

Sinclair is in the final year of his contract with Liverpool and has refused to sign a contract extension.

Consequently, the Reds are forced to sell him in January, and a proposal of around £3million would see the Hornets get their man.
