Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes says the club cannot afford to lose skipper Troy Deeney.
The Hornets skipper has elected to skip training due to fears over COVID-19.
"There are clubs who can afford to maybe miss one or two players because their players are scared," said Gomes.
"But for a club like us we cannot afford to lose a player like Troy Deeney.
"Especially in the situation that we are in now, it is a situation that we need him, everybody to be on board.
"Most of the clubs in the Premier League are creating a safe environment. I believe this is very safe for us to be there."
