Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is happy playing for new manager Walter Mazzarri.

Gomes played under Harry Redknapp, whose laid-back approach is so very different to Italian Mazzarri.

He told The Sun: “He is a character. He is very tough. Very tough. But he is a good man when you follow what he wants.

“Rules are rules. He is not going to open his hands and say 'this time, no'. We need to follow rules and that is good.

“From what I see, he has a very good knowledge of football and can bring good things for us."
