Watford have stepped up their interest in Benfica winger Andre Carrillo, according to the latest report from talkSPORT.

The report claims that Benfica have decided to sell the Peru international this summer following a disappointing pre-season.

The 26-year-old joined his current side from Sporting Lisbon in a free move last summer and scored three goals during the season.

Besides the Hornets, Newcastle and Crystal Palace have also been linked with interest in the player.
