Watford's goalkeeper plans have been put into a spin.

The Mirror says Watford's £1million move for Greek goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis has been hijacked by Napoli.

Karnezis, 32, was expected to turn last season's loan stay at Watford into a permanent move from Udinese.

But Karnezis is set to stay in Italy with Napoli - putting Costel Pantilimon's move to Nottingham Forest on hold.

Pantilimon spent last season on-loan at the City Ground.
