Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is hoping to hear from the club about a new deal.
The 39-year-old is open to the idea of staying on for another season. With Brazilian teenager Joao Pedro now at Vicarage Road, the club may want to keep the shot-stopper around for a bit longer.
"If clubs like Watford or PSV want to appeal to me, saying no is a lot harder," he told former club PSV's website.
“[Last year] the club asked if I wanted to help. Watford has always been good to me and made it clear that I was needed. That appreciation is important to me.
“I don't know [about my future], I will decide sometime in the coming months. It also depends on what comes my way.
“Isn't it great that I still play in the strongest league in the world?
