Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has again insisted he's prepared to step aside for Heurelho Gomes for the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
Foster will start against Southampton tonight but is set to miss out at Wembley too - as Gomes has been in goal for the cup.
He said: “Heurelho deserves it, he really does.
“He has been absolute class , not only with me when I signed, but throughout when he has been playing. He is a great guy and deserves every opportunity like this.
“I honestly don't think there is any reason why he wouldn't to be perfectly honest.
“I think if the manager was going to change something he would have done it in the semi-final.
“But when you are talking about someone like Gomes there is no risk, there is no worry.
“It is not like it is a step down or anything. He is a class goalie and deserves his chance."
