Watford are not in talks to sign West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson, according to reports.

The Hornets have been linked with the centre-back for some time, with some outlets suggesting the two clubs had begun discussions over a transfer.

The Watford Observer says those claims are false.

The report says the 29-year-old, who has year left on his contract, is not a target for the Vicarage Road club.
