The 27-year-old centre-back believes that he has now found a level of consistency that has taken his game to another level.

He put in a good display against Manchester United, even though his side lost 2-1 at home.

He said to reporters in Belgium: "Last year, you could have criticised me of not being at my best in the big games, but over the last five matches, we played Spurs and Manchester United, and I stepped up."
