Daryl Janmaat says he intends to see out his Watford contract before returning to Holland.

Having recovered from a knee injury, the fullback has a deal with the Hornets to 2022.

He told AD: "I now take the time to rehabilitate and the knee will no longer be a problem. I signed with Watford last season and I am under contract until the summer of 2022. I really want to play in the Premier League for another season, then I want to go back to the Netherlands.

"It is England and then the Netherlands, I am honest with that. Another country no longer needs me. The children would like to return and I think it would be nice. Then I had a wonderful adventure abroad."
