Watford continued their brilliant festive period with a 2-1 win over Wolves at Vicarage Road on Wednesday.
The Hornets were ahead at the break thanks to goals from Gerard Deulofeu and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Pedro Neto got one back for the visitors in the second-half, but Watford held on to secure a third win in their last five matches.
Nigel Pearson's side are two points from safety.
Speaking after the game, Doucoure said: "We are so happy to have Nigel Pearson come in.
"Everyone is pushing together, we are so proud of how we played.
"We deserved to win, we have had a fantastic week and we want to carry on and get out of the relegation zone."
