Watford sports chief Filippo Giraldi insists the Pozzo family can handle both the Premier League outfit and partners Udinese.

It's been suggested the Pozzo's cannot manage both clubs successfully at the same time, with Udinese currently struggling in the wrong half of the Serie A table.

But Giraldi told Gianlucadimarzio.com: "Ascent of Watford and decline of Udinese?

"It's absolutely not true. It would be like saying that a parent wants a child to do better than the other, but how is it possible?!

"Of course, the finances of Watford are not comparable to that of Udinese but this is another topic."
