Watford captain Troy Deeney has revealed he's received racial abuse online.

Just 24 hours after leading Watford to the FA Cup final in triumph, Deeney has announced on Instagram he's had to switch off the comments side because of the abuse.

He said: “Due to events from the last 24 hours, I will be taking comments off my posts.

"To me, this isn't a game – when you racially abuse my family or myself, I have to take measures to prevent young people seeing these comments and thinking it's acceptable."
