Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores is unsure about his job future after defeat at Southampton.
Calls for the Hornets to change their head coach for a third time this season have intensified further after the Spaniard watched his side let a one-goal half-time slip as they crashed to a 2-1 defeat at fellow strugglers Southampton.
Asked he was confident he would still be at the helm for the next game, Sanchez Flores responded: “I'm not sure about this. I'm not part of this decision. I'm just sad because if I can help the team and suffer that, I suffer for the fans, I suffer for the players, I suffer for the owner and the future of the club of course, but this is the way I choose.
“I would regret if when they (the owners) came to my house to say you can help us, if I stayed at my house. This is not me, this is not my character. If I stay in my comfort zone, it is not me. I came here and I'm trying and fighting a lot but the circumstances are bad for us."
