Watford boss Pearson calm over Pereyra quit comments

Watford boss Nigel Pearson isn't panicking after transfer claims made by Roberto Pereyra.

The Argentina international told Fox Sports Argentina he wanted "a change of scenery" at the end of the season.

"He's a very interesting character and I will just judge Roberto as I will every player based on what I see when we're training and playing," said Pearson.

"I don't know, if he did say that, what context it was in.

"I think it's important not to make assumptions on that and it's more about whether players show the desire to play for us at any given time, it's as simple as that really."
