Watford boss Malky Mackay hopes to hang onto on-loan Arsenal winger Henri Lansbury.

Mackay still wants to extend Lansbury's loan deal despite him picking up a "nasty" ankle injury in the 2-2 draw at Bristol City.

"It's a nasty ankle injury," he said. "But we've already opened talks with Arsenal about extending the lad's stay with us and I don't expect that decision to be affected."
