Watford boss Javi Gracia: Sarr has so much quality

Watford head coach Javi Gracia is delighted with their swoop for Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr.

The Hornets forked out around £30million for the winger, who is still just 21 years old.

Speaking to the club website, Gracia said the signing was a clear sign of the club's progress.

"We can see keeping the players we have, important players and now signing other players, new players. The mentality of the club is always ambitious," he said.

"He's a player with big offensive skills, he can play both sides: right, left, and as a striker sometimes.

"He is very strong physically, very fast and he's very good in the spaces.

"We saw him playing with the national team in the final of the African Cup of Nations and in all the other games. He's a young player, a good player and he will be very good for the team."
