Watford boss Javi Gracia adds 3 new backroom staff; has message for fans

New Watford boss Javi Gracia has moved quickly to bring in his backroom team.

Jesus Casas has joined Watford from Cadiz, where he took charge of the youth team, and previously worked under Luis Enrique at Barcelona earlier in his coaching career.

Juan Solla, who was Gracia's assistant coach at Osasuna and Malaga has also joined.

In addition, Gracia has also appointed goalkeeping coach Iñigo Arteaga, who worked with him during his last job at Rubin Kazan.

Meanwhile, Watford released a small snippet of his interview on Twitter which showed Gracia talking about the importance of the supporters.

Marco Silva had a similar message at his first press conference in July, labelling them the most important part of a football club, Gracia, however, has previous from his time at Malaga.

"It's a special atmosphere and I'm very happy to feel this experience," he told Watford's website, "and [I want] to say thanks to them because they are the number one.

"After the supporters will come the rest of the players but they are the number one."
