Watford have appointed Javi Gracia to takeover from Marco Silva.

The Portuguese was sacked on Sunday. The club cited Everton's pursuit of Silva as the main reason for his dismissal.

Gracia most recently managed Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan in the 2016/17 season.

The Spaniard has signed a contract with the Hornets until the end of the 2018/19 season.
