Watford and West Brom haggling over Foster fee

Watford and West Brom are haggling over a fee for Ben Foster.

The Daily Mail says Albion have held further talks with Watford who have offered to improve their initial £1million bid for 35-year-old Foster.

Foster's departure will pave the way for Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to arrive as the club's new No 1.

Watford expect Costel Pantilimon to join Nottingham Forest and have also inquired about taking Fraser Forster on loan from Southampton.

Southampton are in talks with Manchester City to sign Angus Gunn.
