Watford and Burnley interested in Egypt international Hemed

Watford and Burnley are two clubs who are interested in signing Egyptian international Tarek Hamed.

The news comes from the Watford Observer, which suggests that both clubs want to sign the Zamalek player.

The 29-year-old wants to make the move, as playing in the Premier League has always been an ambition.

He participated in all of Egypt's games during the World Cup.

There is a clause in his contract that lets him join an English side for just £1.5 million.

Turkish club Fenerbahce also retain an interest, with the Zamalek owner preferring to sell him to a non-English side for more money.
