Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp declared his opposition to the Super League breakaway before last night's 1-1 draw with Leeds United.
Klopp was quizzed on his stance on the controversial proposals Liverpool's owners FSG have signed up for before the Reds' Premier League encounter at Leeds United on Monday night.
Before kickoff, Klopp said: "I have obviously no issues with the Champions League. I like the competitive facts of football as well.
"I like the fact that West Ham might play in the Champions League next year. I don't want them to, to be honest, because we want to do that, but I like that they have the chance.
"What can I say? It's really not easy. What I want to say as well is I heard a few things, and what I really don't like is that Liverpool Football Club is much more than some decisions.
"The most important part of football is the supporters and the team, and we have to make sure that there's really nothing that get in-between that."
