Edinson Cavani was greeted by a very special PSG fan last week.
Ahead of the home clash with Angers in midweek, a youngster approached the striker in the tunnel at Parc des Princes, referring to the Uruguayan as 'his mate/buddy'.
Goalkeeper Kevin Trapp first said: “Tu veux les gants" (You want the gloves?), to which the kid replied: “Ouias" (Yeah).
He then went to Cavani, greeting him with: “Ah mon pote" (Ah my mate/buddy), and a big hug.
To which Cavani replied: “Oh l'ami!" (Oh my friend).
Cavani, in amazement, then told his nearby teammates that “C'est mon pote" (This is my mate).
It paid dividends too, as Cavani converted from the penalty spot in the 2-0 win.
