Omar Alderete joins Valencia on-loan from Hertha Berlin. The Paraguay defender signed forms and talked to local media on Monday.

He arrives as the first senior signing made since the appointment of new coach Jose Bordalas at Valencia. Alderete admits he's yet to speak with his new coach, but is aware of his impact in Europa League football.
