Derby County enjoyed edging a five-goal thriller against Chelsea this time 24 years ago.

With both teams in the Premier League, the Rams won back in March 1997 3-2 thanks to goals from Aljosa Asanovic and Ashley Ward, with Scott Minto putting through Chelsea's net. Minto also scored for the visitors, with Frank Leboeuf finding the net for Chelsea.

With Jim Smith in charge, Derby would finish 12th in the standings that season.
