WATCH: Spurs ace Eriksen says 'farewell' ahead of Inter Milan move

Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen is a step away from signing for Inter Milan.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Eriksen has agreed a four-and-a-half year deal with Inter Milan.

Eriksen is hopeful of securing a switch to the Serie A club this month, but Tottenham are demanding a £17million fee.

The 27-year-old will be a free agent in the summer and had to lower his salary demands from £8.5million to £6.5million per year in order to press ahead with the move.

The Daily Mail says Eriksen was booed by some Tottenham supporters when he was substituted during the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.

However, some fans still showed their support for Eriksen, and it appeared that he was waving goodbye to supporters after the game.

Eriksen also noticed a fan who had a Danish flag and stopped to pose for a picture with him in addition to giving him his shirt.
