Alves was at Hospital de Barcelona on Monday morning followed by visiting the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for his medical tests following Friday's announcement of his return to FC Barcelona.

The Brazilian full-back has begun training for the first time with the squad under his former colleague Xavi Hernández, but with plenty of new faces since he left the club six years ago.
