The great Dane named four former Manchester United teammates in his all-time Premier League quintet, while opting for himself over Edwin van der Sar and son Kasper in goals.

Schmeichel chose Dutch great Jaap Stam in defence, French legend Eric Cantona and English great Paul Scholes in midfield, with Welsh star Ryan Giggs up front.
