Watch: Percy Tau trains with Brighton after recall from Anderlecht

Brighton have recalled Percy Tau from his loan with Anderlecht.

The 26-year-old South African has played the last two and a half years in Belgium on loan agreements, first with Union Saint Gilloise, then Club Brugge and this summer the striker then went to Anderlecht.

So now Brighton feel the time is right to give him the chance.

"We are pleased to welcome Percy to the club and start working with him," said manager Graham Potter, quoted by Bold.

"We have followed his development closely in Belgium for the last three years, and he has shown a really good level, especially at Bruges and Anderlecht, where he has played in the Champions League, and the next step is now to get ready for the Premier League."

Tau has contributed four goals and an assist in 14 games for Anderlecht this season. In Club Brugge it was four goals and eight assists in 30 appearances.

Brighton picked up Tau in the summer of 2018 at Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa. Tau was back in training with the Seagulls yesterday.
