Arsenal have stunned the Premier League today with their swoop for Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan.

The Australia international has joined the Gunners on-loan to the end of the season after finding himself sidelined at Brighton due to the emergence of Robert Sanchez.

In his first interview as an Arsenal player, Ryan admits the surprise move is a dream come true. The Aussie revealing he grew up as a Gooner and admits he never thought the chance would come to play for his boyhood club.

Ryan also says he was quickly won over by Arsenal management, which made clear how much they rated him during negotiations.
