German club Schalke have taken a cheeky swipe at some of Europe's bigger clubs following the signing of Breel Embolo.

The Gelsenkirchen outfit landed the Swiss striker on a five-year deal from FC Basel on Sunday and were fairly happy with themselves after he had been heavily linked with the likes of Arsenal, Wolfsburg, Barcelona, RB Leipzig and Manchester United.

To mark the monumental signing, Schalke posted a video via their Twitter page showing how they had beaten off competition from the aforementioned clubs to secure the services of the talented 19-year-old.
