19-year-old Roberts found the net twice during Celtic's 3-2 triumph over Aberdeen at Parkhead on Sunday and the victory meant that the Hoops were able to claim the Scottish title for the fifth time on succession.
The on-loan winger was delighted with his contribution on the day and is now looking forward to playing Champions League football with Celtic next season as he will have further six months with the Glasgow giants.
Roberts told the club's official website: “Coming here, I wanted to get games and show what I'm capable of, and I'm starting to do that and it's good to get the reward of being champions today and getting two good goals as well. For the first goal I just came inside, brought my head up and there was nobody beside me so I looked at the goal and just hit it and it went in the top corner, so I was happy with that.
“I love scoring goals. The feeling is unbelievable and once you get that feeling you don't want it to stop, as Griff would tell you. He's scored nearly 40 goals and he just loves doing it. It's great having him in the side and he guides me through, and it was good to get on the scoresheet today."
“I've always wanted to get to the Champions League. It's a big ambition of mine. Celtic haven't been in it for the past couple of years so to get back there would be great and for me it would be unbelievable to perform well in that as well as the league and the cups, so I'm hoping next season will be a good one.
"We'll enjoy the celebrations, finish the last two games of the season, enjoy the summer and come back fit and ready to go."
