Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was known as a free-scoring defender in his playing days with Mainz.
Although starting out at FC Pforzheim, Klopp spent most of his playing career at Mainz 05, making over 300 appearances for the German side.
And whilethe Reds boss spent the latter part of his career at the back, he did start out as a forward and when he retired from playing in 2005, did so as Mainz's record goalscorer, scoring 56 times in all competitions.
