Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman praised Frenkie de Jong after their Copa del Rey victory over Rayo Vallecano.

De Jong struck yet again for Barca, with Koeman eager to deflect praise from himself to the Dutchman for his improved performance.

Koeman admits De Jong is becoming more important for the team given his willingness to get forward and help the attack.

The Barca coach went onto praise the team's mental strength for the 2-1 win, with De Jong and Leo Messi their goalscorers.
