Valentino Lazaro was full of pride after his wonder goal for Borussia Monchengladbach yesterday.

The wing-back, who spent part of last season on-loan with Newcastle United, struck in defeat against Bayer Leverkusen with an acrobatic backheel effort.

Afterwards, he posted to social media: "Yes, I am happy about my first goal for Borussia.

"But unfortunately we couldn't win this game!

"Take a deep breath and get right back to work after the international break."
