Bastian Schweinsteiger kickstarted his MLS career in fine fashion with a goal on debut for Chicago Fire.
The German midfielder, who left Manchester United for the Fire last week, opened the scoring at Toyota Park agains the Montreal Impact.
Schweinsteiger found space in the box to powerfully head home David Accam's right-flank cross in the 17th minute of the eventual 2-2 draw, which came courtesy of a late equaliser from Fire sub Luis Solignac, after the Impact had taken a 2-1 lead having fallen behind.
The Fire now sits seventh on the Eastern Conference table with five points from their opening four matches.
