WATCH: Ex-Man City, Southampton striker Wright-Phillips breaks New York Red Bulls record

Former Southampton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips has become the all-time leading goal scorer for the New York Red Bulls.

Wright-Phillips has been simply sensational since joining the Red Bulls from Charlton Athletic during the summer of 2013 and the striker is in fine form during the current MLS campaign as well.

The 31-year-old ex-Manchester City man notched his 12th goal of the season to force a 2-2 draw against Chicago Fire on Sunday night and the strike means that he becomes New York's all-time leading goal scorer on 63, surpassing former Aston Villa star Juan Pablo Angel.
