The young attacker made his debut for Spurs in the Europa Conference League against Vitesse after an impressive run of form for the club's U23 team.

In the process, Markanday became the first playing of Indian heritage to turn out for Tottenham - an achievement the striker says he is proud of. Markanday also mentions his junior club as he discusses how he was scouted by Spurs.
