WATCH: De Gea delighted with wonder save in Man Utd win

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea was pleased to secure the three points against West Ham with a wonder save.

United held on to secure a scrappy 2-1, but the game was not without incident.

Felipe Anderson had a goal controversially ruled out for offside before United eventually took the lead through a dubious Paul Pogba penalty following a foul on Juan Mata in the box.

Anderson eventually equalised for the visitors after the break, but it might have been more had De Gea not pulled off another heroic save to deny substitute Michail Antonio.

The West Ham winger first cannoned an effort off the cross-bar before he was later denied a possible winning goal thanks to a sensational save from the United keeper late on.

"He (Antonio) was very good," captain for the day De Gea told MUTV. "The last 15 minutes he created a lot of danger, he hit the bar and after I made the save in the right moment when we were 1-1 and we won the game.

"Sometimes when they head the headers are very difficult for the keepers. You don't know where the ball is going so you have to react quick. I just help the team, I make the save, and we won the game.

"So we are happy but at the same time we need to improve a lot."
