Mario Balotelli had a debut to remember for French club OGC Nice.

The Italian striker netted a match-winning brace as Nice defeated Marseille 3-2 at the Allianz Riviera in France's Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Balotelli endured a difficult spell with Liverpool over the past few years, including a subpar loan stint back to former club AC Milan, but was back in the black and red to convert from the penalty spot before heading home as les Aiglons joined Monaco at the top of the table in France's top flight.
