Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has hinted his players ignored team instructions for Burnley's equaliser on Saturday.

Granit Xhaka was blamed for Chris Wood's equaliser, but Arteta says goalkeeper Bernd Leno also needs to do better in adhering to team rules.

The Gunners manager was also left frustrated with a penalty being denied involving Burnley fullback Erik Pieters, insisting the decision should have been clear.

The result leaves Arsenal in tenth place, eight points behind fifth placed Everton.
