Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock paid tribute to their fans after defeat to Crystal Palace confirmed their relegation.
The veteran manager praised the efforts of his troops over the course of the season and spoke passionately about the transformation since he took the reins.
"You have heard this lot (Cardiff fans), they have been fantastic," Warnock told Sky Sports.
“They have been unbelievable and fabulous all season for me. I'm proud of them and the lads. They have tried hard.
“We showed our limitations today. That's why we are where we are. The club is alive and kicking, though, which is the main thing.
“When we arrived here it was almost gone. That's the most important thing."
