Warnock hopeful of home fixture for first Premiership game

QPR boss Neil Warnock has fingers crossed for a home fixture as the R's welcome back top flight football for the first time in 15 years at Loftus Road. The fixtures for the 2011/12 Barclays Premier League season are released on Friday morning and while Warnock is excited by the prospect of trips to face the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, he would prefer to kick off at home.

Warnock told the club's official website: "I'd probably quite like a home fixture but wherever we are and whoever we play, it's sure to be an exciting prospect.

"I'm really looking forward to Friday to learn who we'll come up against on the opening day and when we'll be visiting the likes of Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, The Emirates and all the other great stadiums."
