Blackburn Rovers fullback Stephen Warnock is keen to see manager Sam Allardyce sign a new striker.

"It's going to be tough replacing Roque and obviously that needs addressing, but I'm sure the manager's in the process of doing that," said the 27-year-old.

"We don't want to be in the same situation that we found ourselves in last year, scrapping for our lives to stay in the league.

"We want to be pushing for Europe and being ambitious. And hopefully everyone sees it the same as I do."
