Aston Villa fullback Stephen Warnock hopes the club's young players will continue to get their chance at Villa Park.
After their 6-0 drubbing by Newcastle United, Warnock, admits it will be interesting to see how the kids cope with adversity.
"You have to look at Kev bringing these players through for last four years and the reason they are getting a chance is that they are good enough," he told the Sunday Mercury.
"We've got a great crop of lads and they have proven themselves over the last two games.
"There is definitely still a place for it in the Premier League. The club are willing to put faith in them and give them time.
"There will be some tough times, they won't play well every week, but it's all about how they react and what they learn from the experience.
"Kev and his staff know these players are good enough and it is down to how they coach them."
