Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign Tottenham left-back Danny Rose this month, it has been revealed.
The Mirror says left-back has been a particular problem for United, with none of their current options convincing Mourinho they deserve a regular starting spot.
Rose, who could be available for around £50 million, is Mourinho's first choice.
But sources claim that Mourinho is frustrated that vice-chairman exec Ed Woodward has suggested younger, cheaper alternatives.
He is believed to have told the United boss that if he is to get Rose, he will have to offload some players or wait until the summer.
