Wanda Nara says Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi would be happy to give the armband to Kwadwo Asamoah for a game.

It's been suggested Asamoah take the captaincy to protest against the racist chanting Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly endured at the San Siro on Boxing Day.

Icardi's wife and agent Wanda said, “Mauro would be happy to give the captain's armband to Asamoah."

It's not clear if Asamoah will be given the armband against Empoli, but there will almost certainly be some kind of action by the players.
